The Banglar Yuba Sathi (Youth Companion of Bengal) is a flagship initiative by the Government of West Bengal. As per Notification No. 102/YS dated 13th February 2026, the Governor is pleased to introduce this scheme to provide monthly financial assistance to the unemployed educated youth of the state.
Under the Yuva Sathi Prakalpa, eligible beneficiaries will receive ₹1,500 per month directly into their bank accounts. The assistance is valid for a maximum period of 5 years or until the beneficiary secures a job, whichever is earlier.
Initially scheduled for August, the Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expedited the launch. The scheme now rolls out from April 1, 2026. To facilitate early enrollment, offline application camps are being held from Feb 15 to Feb 26, 2026.

Follow these steps carefully to avoid rejection of your Yuva Sathi application form PDF at camps.
Write your Name exactly as it appears on your Aadhaar Card. Enter your Father's/Mother's name and Date of Birth carefully to match the Yuva Sathi West Bengal apply date eligibility (21-40 years).
Provide a valid Mobile Number linked to your Aadhaar. This number will be used for all future SMS updates regarding your payment status.
Enter Bank Name, Branch Name, Account Number, and IFSC Code. Double-check the IFSC code from your passbook for successful DBT transfer.
Visit Special Camps or download the form from www.wbsportsandyouth.gov.in / www.sportsandyouth.wb.gov.in.
Go to your local BDO/SDO office or designated Duare Sarkar camp between Feb 15 and Feb 26.
Collect the Yuva Sathi form PDF (free of cost), fill it, and attach self-attested document copies.
Submit the form and collect your acknowledgement slip with Application ID.
Apply directly through the official Banglar Yuba Sathi portal.
Visit the official portal apas.wb.gov.in.
Click on "Apply Online" and sign up using your Mobile Number. (See Guide)
Fill the digital Yuva Sathi application form and upload scanned documents (PDF/JPG).
Submit and download your Application ID for status tracking.

The Yuva Sathi Yojana online registration portal will be active from April 1, 2026. You can apply by visiting the official website, registering with your mobile number, and uploading required documents like Aadhaar and Marksheet.
You can get the physical Yuva Sathi form PDF from your local BDO/SDO office or Duare Sarkar camps starting Feb 15. The digital PDF download link will be available on the portal from April 1.
The Yuva Sathi apply date for offline applications is Feb 15 to Feb 26, 2026 (at camps). The online application process begins on April 1, 2026.
Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age (born between 01/01/1986 and 01/01/2005) to be eligible for the scheme.
Yes, marital status does not affect eligibility. Any unemployed woman aged 21-40 who is a permanent resident of West Bengal can apply.
