Do Not Apply If You Fall in These Categories

The eligibility criteria are strict. If you are ineligible, your application will be rejected immediately.

1 Beneficiaries of Other Government Schemes

You are INELIGIBLE if you are already receiving financial assistance from any other state government social security or welfare scheme.

✕ Lakshmir Bhandar: Women receiving ₹1,000 or ₹1,200/₹1,500 under Lakshmir Bhandar cannot apply.
✕ Yuvasree (Yuvasri): Existing beneficiaries of Yuvasree unemployment allowance.
✕ Old Age / Widow / Disability Pensions: Anyone receiving these state pensions.
✕ Krishak Bandhu: Direct beneficiaries receiving aid under this scheme.

Exception for Students: If you are receiving student scholarships (like Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means, Aikyashree, Medhashree, or Student Smart Card), you ARE ELIGIBLE to apply.

2 Employed Individuals

Since this is an unemployment assistance scheme, strictly Avoid application if:

✕ You hold a permanent or regular job in Govt (State/Central) or Private sector.
✕ You are self-employed with a steady, declared income.

3 Age Restrictions

The scheme is strictly for youth aged 21 to 40. You are NOT eligible if:

✕ You are younger than 21 years as of 01.04.2026.
✕ You are older than 40 years as of 01.04.2026.

4. Educational Disqualification

If you have NOT passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent, you cannot apply.

5. Residency

Residents of other states or those without permanent West Bengal residency cannot apply.

Banking Issues (Automatic Rejection)

Your application will be rejected if:

You use a Joint Bank Account (Must be Single/Individual account).
Your bank account is not linked with Aadhaar (DBT failure).

West Bengal Government-এর "Banglar Yuba Sathi" scheme-এ যদি আপনি apply করতে চান, তবে নিচের category-গুলোর মধ্যে পড়লে আপনি INELIGIBLE হবেন।

1. অন্য সরকারি স্কিমের সুবিধা পেলে (Other Govt Schemes)

আপনি যদি already রাজ্য সরকারের কোনো social security বা welfare scheme থেকে টাকা পাচ্ছেন, তবে আপনি এই scheme-এর জন্য eligible নন। যেমন:

Lakshmir Bhandar: লক্ষ্মীর ভাণ্ডারের টাকা (₹1000/₹1200) পেলে apply করবেন না।
Yuvasree (Yuvasri): যুবশ্রী প্রাপকরা একসাথে দুটি সুবিধা পাবেন না।
Old Age / Widow Pension: বার্ধক্য বা বিধবা ভাতা প্রাপকরা বাদ।
Krishak Bandhu: কৃষক বন্ধু স্কিমের সুবিধাভোগীরা apply করতে পারবেন না।

✅ তবে Student Scholarship (Swami Vivekananda, Aikyashree) পেলে আপনি Apply করতে পারবেন।

2. চাকরি থাকলে (Employed Individuals)

যেহেতু এটি একটি unemployment assistance scheme, তাই যদি আপনার Govt Job বা Private Sector-এ permanent চাকরি থাকে, তবে আপনি eligible নন।

3. বয়সের সময়সীমা (Age Limit)

বয়স হতে হবে 21 থেকে 40 বছরের মধ্যে।

01.04.2026 অনুযায়ী বয়স 21-এর কম হলে।
01.04.2026 অনুযায়ী বয়স 40-এর বেশি হলে।

4. শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা ও ব্যাংক (Education & Banking)

Madhyamik Pass না করলে apply করা যাবে না।
Joint Account থাকলে টাকা ঢুকবে না, তাই Single Account থাকা mandatory।
Bank Account-এর সাথে Aadhaar Link না থাকলে reject হয়ে যাবে।
